Willow Nest Studio Camp
Willow Nest Studio Camp is a child-centered materials lab and exploratory space for learning through art and play. We offer a host of options for children ages 2-9 to learn through the arts while experiencing the great outdoors at Prospect Park. They are an emilia-reggio learning system which means mixed ages classes and can be a really great option for families with two children who can use support for each other.
This space offers a host of different activities and programs for kids of all ages:
Alternative Preschool: A morning-only playgroup with mixed ages from 2.5- 5 years old, heavily focused on outdoor play in Prospect Park
Afterschool: Afterschool is on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in conjunction with PS 154. Their admissions are rolling and they appear pretty flexible as long as there's space in the class.
When looking at camp options, they support mixed ages with their style, they have flexibility with ages for children with siblings! (I love this emphasis on understanding how important one drop-off is for parents.) They have holiday camps for all the major holidays though the hours for a full day camp are a bit shorter than other locations with 9:30 am-2:30 pm.
For summer camp, they will offer 2-3 week long programs and will post updates as the time nears for day camp registration.
